The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team said Thursday that investigators had identified the man murdered and dismembered and dumped on the side of a Langley road.
The identity will not be made public until Friday as police were still trying to find some relatives and let them know what happened.

There is a lot of information flying around, including people making links between the mutilated body and the shooting early Wednesday of Mohammed Rafiq, a White Rock Hells Angels prospect.
Police say they’re looking at possible links but no determination has been made at this point.
I will do a follow-up story tomorrow. Until then, people should hold off speculating.
